Blooms on blooms!! It was such a treat to help create a colorful summer soirée to celebrate Emily and Jeremy! For this lush summer look we created floral settings with a joyful palette of vibrant blooms and the magic of multi-colored candles aglow with warm light. From the custom signage along the walkway to the illustrated monogram to the elegant but playful table settings, they told their love story and offered a perfect guest experience with so many personal and thoughtful details.
Why have one cake when you can have two? Bright playful blooms, twinkling candlelight and softly tinted layers of almond cake with chocolate ganache made a delicious display.
Patterned tablecloths in French blue provided a soft backdrop to the bright florals while plates in shell pink added a touch of softness. Hints of gold glimmered in flatware, floral vessels, and the delicate edging of the charger plates. Wishbone chairs rented from Violet Vintage provided a relaxed modern edge to the overall look.
A sweetheart table for two nestled in an indoor flower garden!
Custom signs were placed along path from Lily House to the reception space; each telling a different bit of Emily and Jeremy’s love story:
“Emily and Jeremy bond over long nights of tea drinking, dog walking, playing video games, and watching horror movies.”
“Emily and Jeremy met as 6th graders at Northview Middle School in the soprano section of Mrs. Miedema’s choir class. However, they became fast friends after sitting beside each other in Mrs. Schmid’s 8th grade English class.”
Some of the many personal details:
Parasols were offered to all guests to soften the sun of ceremony space (the beautiful Lily terrace)
A floral pocket “square in lieu of a boutonniere
A custom built wall with boxes brimming with florals to display seating assignments
A custom monogram featuring some their favorite things; their sweet cat and a cup of hot tea (loose leaf tea was also bottled and sealed with the monogram as wedding favors for guests!)
So many cohesive and thoughtful elements; we love to see it!
